Frequently asked questions
Quick answers to the questions we hear most often.
Still have questions?
Our team is happy to help. We usually reply within two working days.
Is your support really free?
Yes. Our helpline, information guides and most support groups are free for everyone. Membership is optional and helps us keep our services running.
Do I need a diagnosis to contact you?
No. If you have questions about your skin or a loved one, you are welcome to reach out. We can help you prepare for a visit to your doctor or dermatologist.
Can you give medical advice?
We do not replace your doctor. We share reliable information, help you understand your options and support you emotionally, so you can make informed decisions with your healthcare team.
How can I join a support group?
Browse our events page and filter by area or condition, or contact us and we will suggest a group that suits you, in person or online.
How can I help the organisation?
You can become a member, volunteer, donate, or simply share our information with someone who needs it. Every bit of help counts.
